Activity map does not show any data

Hi @twisted1919

I have activated the Activity Map plugin using a new Google Maps API Key but the Activity Map at the botton of each campaign resume does not show any data.

I am using Mailwizz verson 1.3.7.8.

On previous version 1.3.7.5 the Activity Map was working OK.

How can I troubleshot this issue?

I wonder if you could help me with google map it is loading google maps in customer statistics.

Could you help me, this is the first time I have problems

This happened to us too, and first we thought this is a browser or java issue and checked different OS, java and browser versions.
But then we chose the Key restriction 'none' in the google api console
https://console.developers.google.com/apis/credentials?project=YourProject
because neither IPs nor HTTP referer worked ;)

@twisted1919 @VVT @anyone...
Has actually anyone managed to get those other key restrictions to work?

I'm also having trouble using this extension.
When I go to view the map, the message will appear:

Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.

I have already tested in firefox 52.0, safari 10.0.2 and opera 43.0

# make sure you are using a key for "Google Maps JavaScript API" (the other Google Maps xyz API keys did not work for me)
# select the Key restriction 'none' in the google api console (because neither IPs nor HTTP referer worked)
# when done, you need to (hard) reload the page (i.e. CTRL+F5)

Content of KB article:
Enable the extension "Campaign activity map" here
/backend/extensions/campaign-activity-map
EnableCampaignActivityMap.jpg

Make sure you are using a key for "Google Maps JavaScript API" (the other Google Maps xyz API keys did not work in tests) which you can get free from within your Google account. Also select the "Key restriction" 'none' in the Google API console (because neither IPs nor HTTP referrer worked in tests).

When done, you need to (hard) reload (i.e. CTRL+F5) the campaign view page in MailWizz.

If everything works, you should get something like this
CampaignActivityMap=1=BottomOfCampaignOverview.jpg
CampaignActivityMap=2=FullScreen.jpg

Oh, I see...mh, happens to me sometimes that the flag goes away quickly (on some newer browsers).
