Adding while sending

I'd like to know whether this works BEFORE I send a campaign and screw it up.

I have list 1.

I want to send campaign A to list 1.

Half way through campaign A, I then copy subscribers from list 2 into list 1.

Will the new subscribers receive campaign A as well?

If they are copied before the campaign ends, then yes, they will receive emails too.
