Blacklist - Spamtraps, Honeypots, Complainers and Syntax Errors.

Out of curiosity, how many of these do you have in your Mailwizz blacklist system? I have 80 million.

That's quite a number. Remember that mailwizz has to search these records very often, for example when somebody joins a list, or when a campaign is sent to a subscriber, etc, which might affect overall performance.

Very true. But figured much better to help protect my legit customers and my servers.

Being complained by Spamcop and shut down by DC two weeks ago was not fun. Don’t want to experience this again for me or my customers.

Curious to know how many all you big boys have, since you’re all doing this for many years now.

MW should have a MW internal directory to save all our brothers and sisters.

It was built by customers previously using purchased lists.

Thanks for reaching out.

I bought a ESP Company that was doing email marketing using Interspire for about 6 years. Most of their clients were using it to send bulk spam emails, and that’s why it has about 80 million blacklisted emails.

It seems like a pretty good list, as I was complained by Spamcop, which resulted to shutting down my Mailwizz server including webpage.

That’s why I quickly decided to spend Usd 5,000 to buy that experienced ESP Company to avoid future shut downs.

After importing this blacklist into Mailwizz, I found the complainer that complained to Spamcop. Also found the email address of my IT person, and he confirmed he was a frequent complainer. Also imported a small list in MailChimp, and they would not allow me to use this list. So three confirmations I received confirming this list is quite valuable to have and that I made the right decision.
