Can I use custom variables in Campains->From email?

I am using amazon ses and it allows me to send from any email under my domain.

I am trying to send the newsletters from more than one email address such as:

newsletter@mydomain.com
newsletter1@mydomain.com
newsletter2@mydomain.com

I tried the Random content tag but it doesn't work . Here is a printscreen with the error. If you have any suggestions please let me know

You can't do that, the from email address must be an actual email address, as the error says, even after tags parsing.
Marc G@domain.com is not a valid email. MarcG@domain.com is.
