Config Bounce Server

Hello,

I am trying config a bounce server so I can start monitoring bounces.
My hostname is displaying a error message everytime I save which is " [CLOSED] IMAP connection broken (server response)"

I also do not full understand the "Disable authencticator" or where to find the information to put in to that field.

Can anyone help please?

Try POP3 instead of IMAP, see how that goes.

Exim is a SMTP server, are you sure you've inserted right port info ?

No im not.

This is the info im putting in:

Hostname: smtp.example.com
port: 25

 

[VVT]

25 is SMTP (Sending).
110 is POP3 (Fetching).
143 is IMAP (Fetching).

You would use either port 110 (pop3) or imap (443) for bounce/feed back loop servers at MW.
