direct feed into GDS (Google Data Studio)

Has anyone ever successfully connected MW stats with GDS to visualise and query reports and if so, how would I go about it? I am currently doing it manually via exported reports, but that's not really efficient.

I'm not too handy with API etc. so dumbed-down info would be amazing if possible.

Just picking this up again - wondering if anyone knows of a solution. GDS have a number of connector solutions (i.e. MySQL), but without knowing how to get the stats data out of MW, I'm a little lost.
