Error when validating delivery server with tracking domain

I validated my tracking domain. (CNAME in dns, pointing to Mailwizz domain)
I enter a delivery server and choose this tracking domain as default tracking domain. After entering my settigs I have to validate the delivery server. The confirmation mail I receive has a confirmation link that is built with the tracking domain. When I click it, I'm landing on an error page that telles me it can't make a secure connection.

Tested it without the tracking domain and the confirmation link works.

My domain is on Cloudflare. If I run the CNAME record through CF proxy, I get the SSL handshake error; so this must be an ssl issue, but don't know how to fix that.

Yeah, most likely the SSL certificate doesn't match, so you either need to have a SSL certificate for that cname/subdomain or use a wildcard ssl to cover your domain subdomains.
