Exist a way for custom set of single customer

Hello,
sometimes the customers asking for custom quota of lists, subscriber, segments, etc... Is it possible, even using an extension, to override the group configuration only for a customer?
otherwise i need to create 1 gorup for each clients and I risk to have over thousand groups..

Creating a group for each customer is not that bad. I don't know other way to do this in a clean way.

would it be possible to have a table where ea customer is listed with their group and allowances, and if one would change them there manually, this would override?
(or does it make the app much slower? it is loaded in cache anyway, right?)

@frm.mwz - that;s why we show the group when listing customers, so that with one click you end up editing the group

i meant manual override per individual customer

if a esp have some clients they need to create hundreds of groups 1 custom for each client...is not very useful
