Staff member@hezinai - what is your settings from Backend > Settings > Import/Export?
Note that when the BulkMailChecker extension is enabled, it will check all emails, even the ones that you import and this can cause a timeout issue if their api is responding too slow. In this case, you should import as few subscribers at once if possible, so the Import at once setting should be somewhere at 50 instead of the value you have now.

@twisted1919 Would it be an idea to build in a batch handler for exentions like this

As in rather then checking all coming in at once (which it does now right?) batch check them per 50/100/200 to prevent high server load and being able to intercept bulk checker when needed
