How to remove index.php in the URL ?

Hi,

Currently the URL looks like this: mydomain.com/customer/index.php/guest/index or mydomain.com/backend/index.php/guest/index

Is there a way to remove index.php in the URL ?

I tried this .htaccess content explained on [1] but still is the index.php:

@Fabyc - beside frm.mwz's great answer, you could lookup the kb and find this: https://kb.mailwizz.com/articles/apache-htaccess-for-mailwizz/ It even has a GIF (whoot?!!!)
