How to setup Tags

Please how can i setup the Unsubscribe and Update Your Preference URL in the footer block after drag and drop?

By default, the footer block looks like:

Which means the all the required info is there already, including unsubscribe and update profile url.

You can edit that block by simply clicking the pencil icon:


and adjust it as needed.

Yes Sir but do i have replace "UPDATE_PROFILE_URL" and "UNSUBSCRIBE_URL" with any other LINK or they are automatically generated?

They are automatically generated of course, just send a test campaign to a list of your emails and you will see how those tags are parsed

I have tried severally and it does not work. The links are not clickable or it is because list is a single opt in?

@Johnson Landzro - That is a test email... in test emails, some tags will not be parsed, this is why i wanted you to create a test campaign, like a campaign you send to some of your email addresses. Makes sense ?

I cannot get this to work. These tags are not working for me. I had also sent a test mail, and an image was completely different.

This shows your tags are not parsed.
I said this many times, send a test campaign to a test list for best results. Sending a test email might not always yell good results, like the above shows it.

above these worked, but these shortcodes came out long - why? is it because you need properly formated URL?

These are correct urls, it's the shortcodes being parsed into actual urls.
