Huge transactional_email table

I would like to know if is it safe to move all data from transacional_email to a compressed file? I am afraid to truncate this table that is currently larger than 300 GB and create repeated email_uid. It cannot happen. If it is not safe, would have any other better way to move those data and guarantee newer email_uid is not gonna be equal the old ones?

@olesyatarhanova - you can safely delete all transactional emails that have the status set to "sent".

Thank you for your reply. I was afraid because every email_uid is sent by a customized API to our customers. If our customers receive a repeated email_uid, it would be a trouble.
