Import subscribers not working

I've tested the text and csv import subscribers tools and none of them worked.
Even with the demo file provided in each case.
The import starts, looks like a clean finish (no error or message is displayed)
Checking back the subscriber list there is nothing new added.

1M, but this isn't the issue, as the files uploaded had only 4 lines

Are you using live import or queue import?

try the queue import but firts need to add cron job and enable cli import on: settings--> import/export.

tried the cli import, installed the new cronjob, imported my text list (3 lines) and i can't see them in my subscriber list after 1h

Are you sure this is CSV for real?
