Is it comparable to the precision of
MaxMind GeoLite2 City

@frm.mwz - Hold your breath...aaaand puf: https://github.com/fiorix/freegeoip you can install and run your own freegeoip.net clone without any type of limitation
Most of these services will use GeoLite2 City since is free, but it is accurate enough.

That's awesome, as it will allow import of any IP dbf and it will be faster directly on the same server (farm) and save bandwidth!
