Need help - exec function must be enabled (SPF and DKIM error)

Hi!

I am new user and sorry for my "newbie" question.

I have tried to send my test email and all good I got it, but I am seeing http://prntscr.com/6quhwq that my DKIM and SPF settings are failed, I am using the same FROM email using different software and all good, so all settings I have setted up in my Cpanel correctly.

I decided to thinking that there is a problem with Mailwizz because inside my Mailwizz software I haven't entered any SPF or DKIM because I am seeing

• Your system misses a few PHP functions/extensions in order to use this feature.
• exec function must be enabled in order to handle the DKIM keys.

I am using shared hosting.

Also what should I do to avoid this error?

Like I said SPF and DKIM settings are good inside my hosting Cpanel.

Hey,

From the message i see in your screenshot, it seems gmail cannot retrieve the dkim key from your dns records, keep in mind that might take 48 hours for DNS propagation.

maybe try using one of these tools:
SPF check: http://mxtoolbox.com/TXTLookup.aspx
DKIM: https://www.mail-tester.com/spf-dkim-check

DKIM and SPF are good I am using it for a while.

Maybe I missed some settings in Mailwizz.

Screenshots what I am seeing using Mailwizz:

I highlighted main difference and I am thinking it's the issue.

In mailwizz you have marketing@domasg.com while in the other you have info@profitspree.com
So, where exactly do you use marketing@domasg.com ? Do you have SPF/DKIM records for this domain?

So why Mailwizz is using marketing@domasg.com when mail FROM is setted up to - info@profitspree.com ?

I guess Mailwizz is using marketing@domasg.com because it is my SMTP login username, but I can't use it info@profitspree.com
because then I wouldn't be able to log in to my SMTP, so how to set Mailwizz to use info@profitspree.com?

Wait, let's see if i get this straight.
You have Smtp Username: marketing@domasg.com and From Email: info@profitspree.com okay?
And you are doing these tests by sending a campaign ok?
And in that campaign, in the FROM field, you set info@profitspree.com, okay ?
Please confirm the above.

Also, have you tried to use the FORCE FROM option (set it to always) ?

And in Gmail original email I am seeing marketing@domasg.com (when it should be profitspree.com domain) with DKIM and SPF fails.

I got the same issue.
The first campaign I sent, DKIM worked ok.

dkim=pass header.i=@domain.com

but then it failed for the next campaigns

dkim=temperror (no key for signature) header.i=@

we use pmta and we didn't change any configs on pmta.
any mailwizz configs that I have to check?

Right, and you should sign them on server side rather than in mailwizz (php) because is faster.

I am seeing this error out of no where.



There is nothing blocking exec. When i go into php.ini editor, this is what I see

@David Henry - Make sure that is the correct ini file loaded, look into Backend > Misc > PHP Info and see what ini files are loaded and look into those.
If mailwizz says the function is disabled, it means it is. Look in disable_functions, but if you are using suhosin on the server, look in the suhosin.ini file and make sure it's not listed there either.

I can see it as disabled in MWZ, but when i go to the directory i.e. /opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/etc/php.ini and edit it. Cannot find it here.

Make sure to edit the php.ini for your cpanel server here

It might be you need a few more php extensions/functions enabled, see the php setup at easyapache and enable what is needed there.
