Over 500 opens from one subscriber

I have a user who sent an email and has one subscriber that says has opened over 500 times.

I have seen cases where it's as high as 50 and thought this was likely because they forwarded the email to a lot of people. I assume this is the same thing, that maybe the email got forwarded to a lot of people.

But I wanted to double check. Are there any other reasons this might happen?

It's just forwards in a company with many spam filters.
