Randomize subscribers doesn't seem random

I'm having to warm up an IP after moving to a new SMTP server, as such i'm limiting my max. subscribers over a number of campaigns and day. I'm choosing to then randomize the list, but on the two campaigns I've sent already the recipients email addresses all start with "a" in alphabetical order. How can i ensure randomize subscribers does actually randomize my list?

I just tested this and seems it's working correctly. Can you share a picture for example to see the issue on your app ?

Hi Lauren, not sure what i can show you. Here's a snippet of a delivery log showing 800 email addresses supposedly randomised from a list of 18,000 ascending in name order. All 800 recipients email addresses begin with a. with a few beginning with b.

I've also just copied the campaign and can see that randomise subscribers is turned on:
