Setup Mandrill - unable to validate server

I received this error message "Cannot send the confirmation email using the data you provided."

Here is my setup. Password is Mandrill API key.

I read about the php info and this is what is shown:
Registered Stream Socket Transports: tcp, udp, unix, udg, ssl, sslv3, sslv2, tls

Got my hosting company to look into this.
From hosting: "Under the apache configuration, I have set the SSL/TLS to ALL. This may be a security issue, but it has been done as requested. Let us know if this helps."

Still experiencing error...What can I do from here? I don't have programming background and hope the solution is an easy one.

Change your protocol. 587 is the Submission port that uses encryption.

@infosages - Beside what @Mxyzptlk FishStix says, the error you are getting might be because of a firewall on your server that blocks the outgoing port you try to use.
