I have a recommendation,
Add on backend area the possibility to limit the size of the images to be imported by the customer in
http://your-domain/customer/index.php/campaigns/********/template
the reason to not block the server by the large sizes images imported by the customers .
and the imported image size was definied by the backend in "Ko".
