What does the Subscriber status of "moved" mean?

What is the status "moved"? I see that in the database. Does that mean the subscriber was moved from one list to another? If that's it then why is the entry still there? Thanks
 
If you set as an action, to move a subscriber to another list when an open/click happens, then the subscriber will remain in the original list with this particular status.
