What happens with bounces?

When an email bounces or a subscriber marks the email as spam, what happens to those email addresses? Do their status remain confirmed or they get deactivated automatically?

and when I send a new campaign, it sends the emails to only confirmed addresses, doesn't it?

It depends on the bounce type. Hard bounces as blacklisted right away. Soft bounces get disabled after 5 failures. This can be configured from backend > settings > cron.
