Why does it take so long just to send 1 email?

I'm doing a test campaign again using one subscriber. For some reason it is taking very long, over an hour just to send it. I've checked everywhere that I can think of and could not get it to work.
Status shows pending and cron is checked.
What could this be?

your hosting which moves the crons to run once at x minutes instead of once each minute?
Try to schedule your campaign in the past, like 1 week ago, and if it still takes one hour to be sent, then it's your host who tricks you.

In the Misc then application cron list. Which cron is it? I see that there is 6.

Is the first one, but you should look in your cpanel to see if it has been altered.
